Kal Addams
Kal is a transgender pansexual man living in Crestview Florida. He is 38 and has two adult children. Kal is a local poet, open mic, and karaoke enthusiast and can often be found at various community performance events. Kal is a member of the local PFLAG chapter leadership committee, and well as the Director of the Gulf Coast Pride Choir, and an active member at his local Unitarian Universalist church. Kal has organized long-running direct-aid operations, Pride events, Drag Queen Story Hours, and Transgender Day of Visibility events.
Before moving back to NW Florida, Kal worked with the Tax Amazon movement and volunteered with several political campaigns, including Kshama Sawant, Bernie Sanders, Pramila Jayapal, and Gay Valimont. Kal is an IT FEC Compliance Specialist, and has worked in IT Security, Privacy, and Accessibility. He has also been a firefighter, restaurant manager, and direct social services provider.
